3 Babies with Father

Project Safe Sleep
Providing Tennessee’s newborns in need with a safe sleep environment. Mother To Mother distributes cribs or smaller portable cribs to needy families in Nashville and surrounding communities.

Car Seat Program
Tennessee law mandates that newborns may only leave the hospital in a car seat. Families in need often find themselves unable to purchase a car seat to take their baby home from the hospital. Mother To Mother provides new car seats for these families, relieving some of the stress of the situation.

Diaper Drive
Perhaps the single most essential items for a needy family, Mother To Mother distributes diapers through our community partners. Our Government programs do not provide food stamps that allow the purchase of diapers, making diapers one of the hardest items for families to provide for their newborns.

Gift Bag Program
Sending needy families home from the hospital with a supply of essentials to help care for their newborn and give them a good start to life.

Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Partnership
With the help of the dedicated social workers at the hospital, we distribute cribs, strollers, car seats, high chairs to the community. We keep a stocked closet of diapers, wipes, blankets, clothes, and formula for easy distribution to patients in need.
